Wake County resident Stephen Horn charged in connection to January 6 involvement at U.S. Capitol
Stephen Horn of Youngsville was found guilty on four counts related to his unlawful entry into the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021. Horn maintains he entered the Capitol as a journalist.
Stephen Horn, a Youngsville, North Carolina, resident, was found guilty on Monday of four misdemeanor counts related to his unlawful entry into the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021.
While Horn maintains he went into the building as an independent journalist lawfully documenting an event, he allegedly didn’t have media credentials or employment with a news outlet. A jury found Horn guilty of entering and remaining in a restricted building, disorderly and disruptive conduct in a restricted building, violent entry and disorderly conduct in a Capitol building and parading, demonstrating or picketing in a Capitol building.
