LIVE SHOW: What the heck is going on with NC's Supreme Court race?
Tune in at noon on Friday, Jan. 24 for a live "SupCo Special" that I'll be hosting over Zoom. I'll be joined by a number of guests to discuss the state of North Carolina's messy Supreme Court race.
Let’s call it plain and simple: The North Carolina Supreme Court race between Democratic Supreme Court Justice Allison Riggs and Court of Appeals Judge Jefferson Griffin has become an absolute cluster.
It’s the only uncertified statewide contest in the country, and one of just three races nationwide still in limbo nearly 80 days out from the November election.
In his election protest, Griffin is seeking to remove 66,049 voters from the count. It’s an effort that has upended the contest, delayed certification and raised important questions about how North Carolina and its courts oversee elections. So what’s at stake? Whose votes are being targeted? And most importantly, when will we finally have a winner?
For answers to that and so much more, I’m hosting a live SupCo Special at noon on Friday, Jan. 24 over Zoom to break it all down for you. I look forward to seeing you there!
The 30-minute live show will be available to all paid Anderson Alerts members. And for all unpaid members, you can sign-up here for a free seven-day trial or click on the button below to take advantage of the offer:
Over the course of 30 minutes, I’ll be joined by a number of special guests you won’t want to miss, both for their partisan and nonpartisan analysis of the state of play. And as time allows, I’ll be taking viewer questions at the end of the show. For those unable to tune in to the Zoom live, a recording will be made immediately available for rewatch to paid subscribers.
