Senate approves bill legalizing medical marijuana
A bipartisan bill to allow North Carolinians with certain medical conditions to be prescribed cannabis passed the Senate.
The North Carolina Senate on Tuesday voted to make medical marijuana legal for residents suffering from any of 14 qualifying conditions. It passed by a vote of 36 to 10 with minimal discussion or debate.
