In mostly 3-2 party-line votes, the North Carolina State Board of Elections rejected election protests from Republican Court of Appeals Judge Jefferson Griffin.

The North Carolina State Board of Elections on Wednesday rejected election protests from Republican Court of Appeals Judge Jefferson Griffin, upholding what appears to be a win for Supreme Court Justice Allison Riggs.
By a 3-2 margin, the Democratic members concluded that Griffin’s protests couldn’t be considered, in part, because of insufficient notices sent out to voters.
