Most of the voters Griffin wants tossed out over missing registration info were properly registered, analysis shows
An affidavit released by the State Board of Elections this week shows most of the more than 60,000 North Carolinians in Griffin's protest of incomplete registrations were in fact properly registered.

In the North Carolina Supreme Court race, Republican Court of Appeals Judge Jefferson Griffin is seeking to toss out the ballots of more than 60,000 voters on the basis that their registrations lacked a Social Security or driver’s license number.
But an affidavit from the State Board of Elections released this week, discussed in state court on Friday and reviewed by Anderson Alerts on Saturday shows most of the people in question were actually properly registered.
In a court filing on Monday, NCSBE General Counsel Paul Cox accused a GOP consultant of performing a deeply flawed analysis that produced inaccurate conclusions spelled out in Griffin’s Supreme Court election protests.
