A new House budget plan has been released. What's in and what's out
Medicaid expansion implementation is no longer contingent on the budget, casinos weren't included in the budget. The Senate and House reached a middle ground on tax cuts and an innovation fund.
A copy of a 611-page draft budget was shared with reporters late Monday, representing an apparent compromise reached between the House and Senate on top spending priorities.
The document, however, doesn’t represent a final deal.
“Discussions remain ongoing,” said Lauren Horsch, a spokeswoman for Republican Senate leader Phil Berger.
