North Carolina leaders will now take a summer recess. They do having advanced scores of bills on the final week of June, but few relative to past sessions.
North Carolina lawmakers this week advanced several bills heading into summer break.
Here’s a few notable ones:
House Bill 171/Senate Bill 227/Senate Bill 558: Several anti-DEI bills received final legislative approval. Collectively, they would force state agencies and universities to curtail diversity, equity, and inclusion policies. All three bills passed along party lines.
