Early voting has begun in North Carolina
On Friday, county elections boards began mailing out ballots to the more than 5,000 North Carolina voters who requested them. In-person early voting begins Feb. 15.
Voting has officially begun in North Carolina, with mail-in ballots starting to make their way to voters on Friday.
As of Thursday morning, over 5,000 voters requested primary ballots, according to the State Board of Elections. On Friday, counties began sending out the ballots.
