North Carolina House Speaker Tim Moore said on Tuesday that lawmakers won't hold votes between now and the November election, leaving key priorities unaddressed.

During a news conference on Tuesday, Republican House Speaker Tim Moore said the GOP-supermajority legislature wouldn’t hold votes until after the November election.
“The thought is to simply wait and take up matters in November,” Moore told reporters. “That’s the plan. But always subject to change.”
