A middle finger from Moore

House Speaker Tim Moore moved Democratic Rep. Terence Everitt to a basement office after Everitt and Democratic Sen. Paul Lowe argued. Last month, Everitt called for an investigation into Moore.

House Speaker Tim Moore on Thursday informed Democratic Rep. Terence Everitt that he has moved his office to a basement space that Moore says has never before been used in the more than 50 years lawmakers have met in the legislative building.

In a letter with a string of thinly-veiled criticisms of Everitt, Moore cited a conflict Everitt had with a fellow Democrat as the reason for the office change.
